Patina in rugs

The friction of the foot gives carpets a natural silk sheen (patina) reflecting the beautiful vegetable dyes, and lending a tone of richness that no modern carpet can equal. Moreover, if proper care is taken, these rugs will last almost for ever. They have beauty and utility and will give to their owners a thrill of pleasure and of satisfaction which will endure while the rug endures and this will be far longer than an ordinary lifetime.

Wool texture
The areas where sheep are reared have an obvious effect on the
texture of the wools. Once again, as with dyes, we will make the
divisions.
